Shoot! Trent get better soon we really need you out there! I'm really hopeful he can play this year. He also had offers from Utah and Boise which probably means he's a talented corner, especially for BYU. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you man. Hang in there!
If your ACT is high enough, why accept Utah or Boise St.?
Don't worry Cougar Claws. He was only a 2-star DB. You got a bigger and better one in Dallin Leavitt.
Why do Ute trolls got on here to spew poison when the article is about a guy who suffers an injury? Max was right about the U.
Glad he chose a 4-Star University to attend instead of one of those others that claim to be but end up in the bottom of their conference and not making it to bowl games. Get better soon so you can show others what talent you have see them turn green with envy.
Crissy,
Classy comment on someone who gets hurt. I hope you live other aspects of your life on a higher level.
Re: Naval Vet
Wrong he was a three star corner out of the JC ranks. Quit making up bogus statistics.
Cougar Claws:
He was rated 2-stars by Rivals. I didn't make anything up, and I only cite that recruiting source. Fail on your part. Again.
Man, this stinks! We had to battle Weber State and SUU so hard to get this guy and now he's hurt.
Naval,
You often selectively use Rivals and Scout to meet your spin. I believe you knew both and chose to point out Rivals. Disingenuous at best.
JDL:
Wrong. You made that up. I'm Rivals man. Always have been. And YOU'RE calling ME "disingenuous"? Typical hypocritical coug. Don't be so frantic and emotional.
Re: Naval Vet
To be fair to your comment though, Dallin Leavitt is a solid DB and will be good for us, but unfortunately he is probably a straight on a mission kid, and is more likely to project as a safety instead of a corner.
Lesson apparently not learned from LDSaints kicked out of Missouri in 1830's is of the LDS folks goading by gloating over some success, then reaping the backlash of offended people, and wondering why. Best to be humble before the game than to be humbled by it...stay low Cougar fans, it's best position from which to tackle!
Naval Vet, What do you care about BYU since you live in Pa? Stick to your big 10 or if you really are a ute fan to the pac 12. As long as I have been reading your comments, you have nothing to do with BYU.
USNGary:
As a Utah (B.S.) and Penn State (MBA) alumnus, I DO follow the Ute and Nittany Lions (and as a former Seabee, I also follow the Naval Academy), but you are mistaken in assuming I have nothing to do with the Y. I went there my Freshman year, hated it, and learned to be very put off by that school's administation, its contempt for the 1st Amendment, its sports teams, and especially its fans. So I comment.
I love it how the offseason program is the toughest ever. They say that every year.
From a Ute fan---Good luck and quick healing to Trent. I can't imagine what it would be like to be a JC transfer, come to your new program and immediately suffer injury. Keep your head up and get better soon!
Get better soon Trent! You always hate to see someone go down like that.
Sorry for the Utah trolls - they give us real Utah fans a black eye.
So sad. He could have been the best byu corner in 20 years, even if he was only average
