I hated to see Dupaix and Cahoon have to leave. I like both of them very much. But I am also not a Division I (FBS) coach who had the #3 defense in the country and with a 72% winning record that is driven to improve his team and take on tougher challenges. When I see persons commenting on here about things way above their own experience, pay grade and language skills I remember what I learn long a go. A critic is a legless man who tries to teach running.

Now that all the coaching changes are made, let's see how all that translates to victories on the field. Wins, wins, and more wins, is still the bottomline. Short of that, we'll still be an ugly princess who doesn't get invited to the royal ball. Let's hope Anae's second coming will usher in a new era of offensive prominence and national respect.

Go Cougars! And good luck, Utes!

"Howell’s job? To continue to learn to be Bronco Mendenhall."

So, Howell's role is to get the Defensive ready in their three point stance on the sideline. When the ball turns over Howell says "set hut" and they all dash out onto the field!

Oh, I love watching BYU football!

To SLCWATCH:

Doesn't mean fans of the game for 40 years don't know anything about what we've seen on the field, and what we've seen happening the past year or so with Riley Nelson...and having good, competent Quarterbacks in the pen, and not used...says volumes about a Defensive genius, who has jilted the fan base, and hasn't caught on to the nuances of offense.

On top of that, sending Brandon packing, (which is fine) but at least be up front...that it was NOT a mutual decision--according to Brandon. The treatment of Dupaix and Cahoon is indefensible.
