Van Noy returned because he wanted a perfect record against Utah. A perfect 0-4 that is.
Van Noy could care less of the utes.
No mention of the linebackers that committed to play this year. surely they would give some depth to the inside.
Enjoy yourselves immensely at our expense, 0-4. Last season, ute fans could always say. "at least we beat BYU."
I suspect this year, you won't even have that.
KVN is better than Manti Te'o.

"Van Noy could care less of the utes."
Not true. When asked about why he is staying for next season he has mentioned repeatedly that he has unfinished business--which strongly suggests he does care about the Utes. The rivalry is alive and well. I can't wait to see KVN and company shut down the Utah offense in a few short months. Go Cougs!
Utes say they have moved on, but all the comments on BYU articles say otherwise. No Ute comments on the Buffs in the Denver Post. I'd love to see Colorado fans response if Chris B commented 2 or 3 times on every Buffalo article. Most Buff fans still consider the Cornhuskers as their rival and are delighted with the new 6 year contract against Nebraska.
I too hope the BYU / Utah game continues, not because either team needs it; but because it is a great rivalry. 3 of last 4 games have come down to the final play. Sure I wish BYU could have made 2 field goals so we could claim a 3 to 1 advantage. But we didn't. But everyone has to admit, it's a better game to watch than watching our teams beat up on Northern Colorado or New Mexico State.
The LB will keep the D in the Top 20 nationally. Given a choice between KVN or a 5 star LB recruit, I'll take KVN any day.
Ogletree will be missed the most. Bills will be the newcomer who makes the biggest impact.
As a fan of the UTES and the miserable LB play we experienced last year you can't help but be envious of this group the Cougars have put together.
However, in a general sense, you'll forgive us cougar fans if we're not exactly shaking in our boots at the prospect of playing you.
The rivalry has become the opposite of what it was in the 80's. The cougs have to play there best game in order to beat us and we can play a mediocre game and still beat them.
When we play our best the result is annihilation. When they play their best ,and quite frankly above themselves, the result is either a win or loss on the final play of the game.
It's nice to have that margin of error. That's the advantage you have when you simply have better players 1 thru 105.
Number #1 in the west!
My guess is that Utah will always be number 11 or 12 in recuiting in the Pac 12. If your going to play in the Pac 12 Utah and Colorado would be your last choice.
