Great job Alta! The team is peaking at the right moment. The never give up attitude is paying off. It has been a great season and coach Barker is doing a great job this year!
Great day of basketball yesterday. Based on yesterday's results it looks to be a LP vs. Alta final. Alta will need to do more than play great defense. They will have to score more than 49 points if they want to be in the game. Taking away the Mika kid, LP has 4 starters who have scored 20 or more points in various big games this year, so pick your poison. Should be a great final 2 days of the 5A tournament.
Your forgetting that Alta has to beat a very good American Fork Team. You might want to look to that game before setting your sights on LP...Just saying. I am picking an AF - LP final.
All this excitement over the chance to finish in 2nd place in the 5A!!
@ LP fan.........I can see that matchup in the final. AFter sitting through the AF - Syracuse game though, AF will have to step up the offense. That first half was dreadful as it was 20-19 in favor of Syracuse. Kind of hard to watch that game after the Brighton - Viewmont and the LP - Davis games. Still better to lose in the finals, than the semi-finals!
Congrats to Weber for an impressive season.
I remember a few years back when Weber beat Alta in the first round of the playoffs because of missed free throws. I am glad to see Coach Barker is focusing on the basics.
