The most impressive thing about his Sunday sandwich activity is he puts his MONEY where is mouth is. Of course it would be great to just show up at a soup kitchen and volunteer there cooking food that others have purchased. It is exponentially more impressive to me when someone takes the HUGE step to pull out your own checkbook and pay for it yourself.
To me, thats the difference between doing something nice, and doing something completely Christlike,selfless,awesome..
From a BYU guy all day, you're the man!
Great uplifting story about young men and women giving of their time and resources each week. Fine example of leadership on the part of DuBois. My thanks to Mr. Sorensen for this bringing this to our attention.
Why isn't this story listed under the 'Top Stories' on this site? Other acts of kindness are shown there why not this story?
DuBois has been one of the bright spots on this Utah team.
Unfortunately, he, Washburn, and Martin will be gone at the end of the season, so the Utes will be losing two of their best scorers and their best defensive player from a team that was already rebuilding.
Great story and good for DuBois.
The kid is a class act!
I really hope that the underclassmen keep this tradition up when he leaves, what a wonderful way to let your humanity and love for everybody show.
Dubois is a class act.
He'll be missed on the Utes, who will lose their scoring leader, rebounder leader, assists leader, steals leader, and blocked shots leader for next year.
I guess this really wasn't a rebuilding year after all.
