If Garnett would have let Paul continue his drive inside the 3-point line, more time would have expired and possible run out for the Jazz, which would have been more of a heads-up, veteran move than fouling him.
"Jazz's youngsters beaten by Boston's veterans" WRONG!
Should be...Jazz' veterans lose game!
ALL the Veterans were -. None of the youngsters were -.
The Core4 and JD played well. The vets did not.

Youngester outplayed vets just like always..... Matt Harpring knows our youngsters have more energy and make something happen in the basketball court. I can't wait for our new young point guard. I hope jazz can make a good decision this summer.
the good news of not pulling the trade...is that...we have 9 vets possible 10...most of which are underperforming...will be off the books...we could make a move to extend the existing contracts of the core 4...and add more young talent to the team...this will force the Mr. Corbin...to play the Core4...this will probably help the young guys develop...and probably...win some games for us...it would be idealistic to think that they would carry us to the playoffs from the start...but i firmly believe that...they will do so..in 2-3 years...i am a patient fan...and im willing to wait and see the potential of the young guys blossom
Key to the game was again Kanter and Favors. When they were on the floor it forced long drawn out possessions and bad shots for Boston. Nothing in the paint, and zero second chance points. Enter Jefferson, I'm sorry Matt, he isn't the "go to guy in crunch time". While is offense is somewhat more dependable than both Kanter and Favors at this point, his complete lack of defense lead directly to this win. His plus minus is one of the worst in the league. Kanter and Favors could be the best defensive tandem in the league down low.
@fortydam
i agree with you...and...i think we have a few players who can and will produce down the stretch...do we forget that we have Hayward and Burks?...and if Mo returns...he can shoot us out of it unless he got cold or something...it doesnt have to be Big Al...he often times force his shot from a double team...so rather than depending on one guy...why not use all...i think either Mo...Hayward or Burks...depending on who's hot during that game...i hope...we get Ed Davis on free agency of 2014...also...in the upcoming offseason...Jeff Teague is a restricted free agent...he could be our PG of the future...Alan Anderson is also unrestricted this off season...
