I think he did an amazing job at the press conference. Very mature and
Chris BThere's not any inconsistency in Ziggy seeking Heavenly
Father's guidance in every aspect of his life, including playing in the
NFL. Lots of professions require work on the Sabbath - doctors,
nurses, utility workers, broadcast media, police, firefighters, airline pilots,
hospitality workers, dairy farmers, snow plow drivers - the list goes on and
on.I know it's a fine line, but there's a subtle but
important difference between working on the Sabbath because you're required
to as part of your profession and voluntarily participating in a recreational
activity on the Sabbath.
"Gentlemen": Please be nice to each other. It's not that hard.
Ziggy is awesome.
I wouldnt see his guidance.BYU fans have been telling me that
"he" doesn't want people watching/playing sports on sundays. So if ziggy really does communicate with "him", "he"
will tell ziggy not to play in the NFL.Right byu fans? Please - be consistent with what you've been telling me.
Ziggy just ran a 4.62 40 at the NFL Combine - the fastest 40 by an Defensive
Lineman. Word is, he's all but clinched a first-round draft slot; now it
depends on the needs of the teams picking at the top of the draft on how high in
the draft Ziggy is taken.-----Just read about Star
Lotulelei's heart condition. I hope it's not too serious, but the
timing is terrible for Star. Missing the Combine with something as serious as a
heart problem could be huge for his draft prospects, or even having a career in
the NFL, depending on how serious it is.
to idabluI'll impart some wisdom from Chris Jericho that
I'm sure KO would agree with, "Lighten up junior."As
for Ansah, He is raw with loads of potential. He is a huge reach in the top 10.
Going to the Giants would be ideal. I just pray he doesn't get drafted by
the putzburgh stealers.
Heevenly Father wants you to be a Seahawk!
MisterJ. Funny you would quote Keith Olbermann of all people. Arguably the most
hateful news commentator ever. Too much hate even for MSNBC, eventually costing
him his job.Ansah is a good kid and deserves to go early in the
draft. But he is going to quickly learn that NFL is a far cry from college. I
think it will be tough going for awhile. But if he is as teachable as they say
he is, he'll be OK, because he has the raw skills.
in regards to Ernest... "Without humor, a sports fan is a religious fanatic.

Like most of you, I saw Ziggy come from nowhere and dazzle everybody. Granted,
he had great help from the others on BYU's stellar defense, but as they
say, you can't teach fast. He'll play pro ball and he'll be good
if he doesn't get hurt. Very least, he'll be able to support his whole
family in Accra. And with his BYU math and accounting degree, he'll be able
to put that big head start to a good purpose. He'll be very rich and
successful, unlike most pro athletes who are broke five years after they leave
the league.As for Ernest T. Bass, I'm a fan. I don't care
who he is, he's funny rat thar! Keep it up, Ernie! Too bad Chris B and

I usually don't read the comment boards, so maybe I'm oblivious to
common frequent commenter knowledge, but Ernest didn't say a thing about
the U. I think it's funny how all the Cougars on the board instantly assume
he's a Ute. He could be a Memphis Tiger for all we know... lol.
Awww...come on guys! Don't spoil ETB's fun! Trolling the DesNews

ETB, then again maybe HE does care about who goes in the NFL, and who can
provide an outstanding example. I believe we have seen indications of this
before now. Best wishes, Ziggy. This is from someone who does not watch

Side by side stories of Leota (U) and Ansah (BYU) are polar differences.Ansah has been an inspiration to many football players, coaches, and
fans. I'm grateful that Dave Rose saw where his talent was and pushed him
in the right direction toward Bronco Mendenhall and football. I hope we hear
great things about him in his future career in the NFL. Good luck!Go
@ Ernest T. BassMaybe the person seeking the guidance isn't
asking to get into the NFL. Maybe he's seeking guidance to handle the
challenges that come from where his life seems to be heading. Then
again, maybe you and I shouldn't presume to understand someone else's
faith and what makes them tick.
I sought the same guidance when I was trying to get to the NFL. It didn't
work for me. Maybe the person who's guidance is being sought
doesn't care about who goes to the NFL.
Go Ziggy. Awesome inspirational story in sports.
No comment from ChrisB? i figured she would be the first one on here saying how
Ziggy will amount to nothing in the NFL since he is out of BYU. On a more
positive note, I cant wait to see Ziggy suit up in the NFL! He is an absolute
stud! Go Cougs!
A lot has happened in Ansah's life in the past year or so. He is about to
experience a major change in his life and pocketbook. Odds are, he will handle
it well. As for the fan, we didn't even know this guy existed
until he busted on the scene like a hurricane. Ansah is a project, but his
talent and character are going to be hard to pass up by many a GM. He could be
picked up early in the draft.
I like this kid too.Manti Who?Go, Ziggy. :)
I can't help but think that Dave Rose has had some second thoughts about
the decision to cut Ziggy from the basketball team, especially after conning
Bronson Kafusi into joining the team this year to get some depth. Ziggy might
have helped a lot. However, I suspect that Ziggy is glad that things
worked out the way they did. He's in a great position in the NFL draft.
Outstanding...Love this kid.
