There are three seasons: pre-season, regular season and post-season. WHS had a tough pre-season (3-9), WHS had a solid regular season (6-4) and an excellent post season (3A final four... and hopefully 3rd place finish). As a WHS parent, what I love about this season (pre, regular and post) is HOW the young men on our team learned this season about staying positive and working hard even when life turns out differently than you hope. Sports in general (basketball especially) is an excellent class-room/lab to safely learn/apply some of life's harder lessons. Finally, congrats to an excellent Morgan side. Free throws down the stretch, made THE difference.
Both Bear River and Morgan are worthy of the accolades. This should be a fun final. It is always hard to beat an opponent three times in the same season and I'd expect that the Jordan phenomenon to be true tonight.... that is, the stars (Miles/Miller) will "get theirs".... the determining factor will be whether the other guys hit foul shots (e.g. Skinner last night). All the best and thanks for the therapeutic platform... this is way cheaper than a shrink.
