New Orem coach Justin Gustin. Now that is a sweet name. Pretty good guy too. He'll do great there. Wonder when Wasatch is going to get over the hump and get a new hire? Moving up to 4A they may need some new life in that program quick. Or else someone might write a new movie "bad news Wasps"
Mike does a GREAT job at Wasatch. He is still one of the most classy head coaches out there. Not sure what your talking about but really like the guy and I'm a High School UMPIRE!!
RDNDYNKSNSS- Well, if you could base success off of how many missionaries he has coached, then ya, he's been successful. By the way, that comment is from a Dnews story from a few years ago, so not made up. I've known a lot of classy, hard working, intelligent, well meaning guys who have coached before. Problem is, that alone doesn't make you a good coach. His teams are consistently loaded with talent, yet he rarely gets it out of them. So when you say GREAT, are you saying it like Tony the tiger, or do you really mean it? And how do you mean it. Because in HS sports now days, most success is held up by winning region and state titles. Oh ya, Wasatch still doesn't have one, and moving up to 4A won't get one, unless a change is made. The program has grown stagnant, and needs to be refreshed with new enthusiasm and new direction. Congrats on being a HS UMPIRE!!

Maybe Mike doesn't have the Championship yet, well neither do a lot of greats John Stockton, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley,Ty Cobb,Ted Williams...
