Bracketing is something that could be fixed very easily by have a selected committee seed the teams on the weekend prior to the start of the tournament. So many times over the years the best two teams ended up facing off in the quarters or semis. This could be fixed.
I say we just skip the playoffs and let #1 and #2 go at it for the title, worked out well with Bama and Notre Dame
