Do you know anything about Glen's ideas on health care and where he's trying to move on that important issue?

Wow, Beck made $80 million the last couple of years, and he still gets free advertising in the DNews, he really is a genius!

Ah, one must read past the end of the article to find out what this is REALLY all about.

"prices range from $1,250 for the “Gold VIP Package” to $35 for lawn seating"

And this is news, why?

Unfortunate that people think because someone makes a lot of money that an article on that person is about getting free advertising. I don't follow Glenn Beck and barely know who he is and what he is about, but I did find this article to be newsworthy as he sounds like an interesting man with interesting ideas. As far as being newsworthy, isn't that what news is about?

Gosh if we would just take Glenn's advice, we could enrich the wealthy, take more away from 90% of the population and keep affordable healthcare out of the picture.

More and more, Glen Beck sounds like a carnival barker with more money than he knows what to do with.

Beck is moving to the MOON?

Great. When is leaving? Does he need help packing?

Dear Joe Blow: Are you saying that people shouldn't have to pay for tickets to attend a presentation? Apparently, you think free riding is the way to operate. Those of us who believe in self-reliance and paying your own way believe that we are expected to pay for our own ticket to a performance. People not paying their own way is one of the things that has gotten us into the mess we're in today.

No, Cats, he's just pointing out the fact that anything Beck does is dedicated to enriching Beck.

JoeBlow

Thanks Old Man. That is exactly my point.

I actually doubt that Beck even believes much of what he says. But it dang sure is profitable.

How entertaining would it be to put Beck and Limbaugh on a Live, On the air Lie Detector test and ask them some questions.

Lie detector operator.

"Uh Glenn, Do you really believe that Obama "has a deep-seated hatred for white people"

Beck Answer
"Honest answer? Of course not, but did you see my rating skyrocket? My listeners love it. Have you seen my bank account lately?"

Does anyone see this project Glenn is working on similar to what was seen on the Truman Show? This new Ayn Rand inspired community will include a giant control center with Glenn Beck controlling everything behind the moon?

You people clearly don't know much about Glenn Beck.

I don't agree with everything he believes, but I do know one thing--he is completely sincere. I know it's really hard for some people to take the fact that others are successful. He uses the money he makes to promote his beliefs and there's nothing wrong with that. I wish people would just take the time to check out what he really believes instead of only listening to what his detractors say about him.

Of course, anytime someone doesn't like what another person belives and that person is sucessfull at promoting those views, it is always the easiest thing to just claim he is only doing it for the money. That's what people usually do when they have nothing else to say.

It appears from these comments that Glenn's detractors are in excruciating pain after having read about his successful ventures.

If Beck is the person he portrayed on the TV show, we're in trouble. His theatrics, melodrama, and absolutely herculean leaps of logic we're, at best, comic relief, and we can only hope it was an act. The nazi props, gesticulations and chalk board full of conjecture aren't what this guy is really all about, are they? I'm glad he's a conservative icon, because he sure knows how to bring the crazy, but I hope people don't really exist in his world.

When I think of Beck and his endless schemes to capitalize on America's abundant supply of gullibility I think of the great H.L. Menken, who astutely observed, "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."

Or to put it even more simply - Mr. Beck is proof that P.T. Barnum was right.

JoeBlow

OK Cats. In his own words. Not his detractors. Not taken out of context. His own words on what he believes.

"So here you have Barack Obama going in and spending the money on embryonic stem cell research. ... Eugenics. In case you don't know what Eugenics led us to: the Final Solution. A master race! A perfect person. ... The stuff that we are facing is absolutely frightening." –"The Glenn Beck Program," March 9, 2009

"When I see a 9/11 victim family on television, or whatever, I'm just like, 'Oh shut up' I'm so sick of them because they're always complaining." –"The Glenn Beck Program," Sept. 9, 2005

"I think there is a handful of people who hate America. Unfortunately for them, a lot of them are losing their homes in a forest fire today." –on why people who lost their homes in forest fires in California had it coming, "The Glenn Beck Program," Oct. 22, 2007

I have no problem with him being successful.

He is giving the audience what it wants.

For his sake, I really do hope that he does NOT believe these things.

Yes..We must denigrate anyone who is financially successful to further the president's agenda and reinforce our world view. That sounds about right. Please pass the government cheese!

"...Glenn Beck’s “Man in the Moon” will play July 6 at 7 p.m. at USANA Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday; prices range from $1,250 for the “Gold VIP Package” to $35 for lawn seating. For more information, visit GlennBeck.com/maninthemoon....".

What was it the Christmas Story Ralphie said when he decoded the secret message?

That's it?

A crummy add?

BTW:

Government cheese?

You need to add some republicon whine with that cheese.

Enjoy!

Dudes Ernest and Blue and those like them, you don't understand economics. Wealth can grow, economies grow (or shrink). The rising costs of healthcare are more due to our litiginous society than anything else and certainly isn't due to the existence of millionaires in the United States. I recommend reading more literature than the leftist news so you will see that your arguments do not stand up to reason.

We are seeing a deliberate shrinking of the economy under President Bush thanks to his anti-growth policies. Glenn Beck earning money does not take ANY money away from other people. He makes more money, pays more taxes - giving more to other people by helping to pay for unfunded welfare programs. The way that the government has been spending borrowed money this has become disconnected in your minds, and no doubt will continue to do so until the government runs out of money to borrow. We ought to be celebrating success stories and recognize that a "rising tide lifts all boats" as even Obama has said, despite not following his own advice and instead engaging in teaching you all to believe that class warfare will accomplish something.
