I weep for our youth!
Get an education and STOP
worrying about how to kiss girls!!!
@Richard,
I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess you didnt have much fun in college.
You're supposed to party and get girls in college. I loved that part of it. Did well in school too, but wouldnt have traded the partying for anything.
Love this. Gives me encouragement for college students. A great prank. And I doubt there was much "worrying about how to kiss". Bogie had it right 60 years ago, a kiss is just a kiss. This took a lot of thought and planning. I am impressed with Eddington's before-hand preparations.
chris b,
I'm going to saw off the limb you are one by saying that I had an absolute blast in college.
The main reason for one going to school is to receive an education.
Not to party and pick-up chicks!
tigger;
Humphrey Bogart had nothing to do with "As Time Goes By". It was written by Hubert Hupfeld
in 1931. Dooley Wilson was the one who sang the song in the movie "Casablanca" in 1942(seventy-one years ago not sixty)! As far as "This took a lot of thought and planning".,
"I am impressed with Eddington's before-hand preparations", well, thank you for proving
my point!!
@Richard,
You are the one who suggested these kids get an eduction instead of doing what they're doing.
I never said the purpose of college was to party.
I said I did well in school.
And partied hard.
I'm glad I did both.
Again - you are the one who suggested it wasn't possible to do both.
Such a fun read! I love Eddington's ideas! Thanks for sharing!
Not to hop on any soapbox of any kind, but for some people, hands on learning and creating is far more effective (and cheaper) then a traditional college class room. Nothing wrong with either way but it takes all kinds of people to make the world we live in (and proceed to post about the experience on Youtube)
