Please tell me that this animal will never get out of prison again. Why wait until he actually kills somebody? He has proven to be a danger to the rest of us time and again. Keep him in prison until he is deceased.
Tell me, How did he get a gun?
Background checks anyone?
c'mon - it only makes sense....
The other newspaper is reporting an immigration hold on him as well.
All the more reason to have enforced immigration laws when he was released from prison before.
When will we learn?
@ LDS Lib- Background checks?
Guys like this don't get their guns like you and I do. Crooks steal them (often from cop cars) or trade drugs for them, or get someone with a clean record ("straw purchaser") to get one. Or, they just get a fake ID and get past the background check anyway. Fake IDs are absurdly easy to get in a matter of hours.
Background checks are about as useless as demanding that heroin buyers get Doctors' prescriptions before buying illegal drugs.
Decades of experience prove that the feds do NOT prosecute people who fail the background checks- More than 2,000 failed in Utah last year, but the feds prosecuted less than FIVE! The only real purpose of background checks is de facto registration of guns and gun owners. That never helps solve crimes (ask the Canadians how that 2 billion dollar long gun registry worked-- they canceled it). Registration is needed for only one thing- eventual confiscation.
