@ Chris B"You're either a member of a prestigious BCS
conference. Or you're not. Outside of Notre Dame, the rest of college
football could go away and we really woudlnt lose anything."With
that logic Utah's BCS bowl wins mean absolutely nothing since they
weren't in a prestigious BCS conference at the time. In addition,
how's that defeat feel in the hands of Utah State last year? If you lost to
a nobody what does that make you?
The San Diego paper listed the SDSU opponenents for the next four years;
disappointed the DN didn't do the same. Here they are for next year:Home: Boise State, Colorado State, Hawaii, WyomingAway: Air Force,
New Mexico, San Jose State, UNLVI'm glad the Aggies have BSU at
home, and think the schedule looks very balanced. Not playing SDSU for the next
two years (at least in the regular season) will help maintain peace in my house.
Good luck USU!
I hope you're right, Magna, I would like to see them do well. But with
Anderson departing and Peterson still at BSU it's unlikely. Hope springs
Never is a big word Mr Jimmer. The Aggies have been on a great trajectory since
Gary Anderson came to town. HOPEFULLY some of his energy and a lot of his
defense wore off on them. If they can keep the ship moving forward they will be
in a good position to challenge BSU. The Aggies have been so close to beating
some big programs the last few years. I hope the Cache Valley residents will
continue to get behind this team and keep pushing them forward. Let's have
some faith in the Aggies!
@Chris BPlease, do tell me how being in a BCS conference is even
relevant unless you can win the Conference? The only reason Utah every went
undefeated was because they were in the MWC. They would not have been undefeated
if they would've been in the PAC in 2004 or 2008. But oh well. CONGRATS for
thinking that just because you're in the PAC you will be National Champs.
Hopefully U can at least make a bowl game this season.
Looks pretty good. The only sad thing is that if the winner of each division
plays for the conference championship, then Utah State will never be in the
conference championship because they're with Boise State. I hope they find
a way to pull it out.
Don't feed the Duck, er, the Chris B. I am really excited to see what the
Aggies can do in the MWC. I think this is going ot be a great conference for
the Aggies, and a lot of fun to watch. I can't wait to see the Aggies take
it to the Broncos and win a conference championship.Go Aggies! Go
FAIL Chris BMid-Majors are what give CFB its charm. Everybody loves
to see smaller teams compete with, and beat, the big-boys. I know back when
Utah was in the MWC there was nothing I loved more than to see the Utes take
down BCS teams (which they did quite often). Also one of the 12 spots
in the new system will be designated to the highest ranked team not in the
"Big 5". More often than not that team will be from the MWC. It is
still a solid, and respected, league.
@Chris BOr perhaps you are an insider that is embarrassing your home
state by failing miserably on the biggest stage possible. Merely belonging
means nothing. Earn some respect, don't just expect it by simply being on
the roster. Lets not forget that Boise State (another outsider) completely owns
all 3 Utah schools right now.
@Chris BTry winning the PAC-12 first before you brag.
Regardless of what changes there are to the landscape of college football, there
will always be 2 constants1. Utah will be "IN"2.
Utah state and byu will be "OUT"The future of football in
Yawn,You're either a member of a prestigious BCS conferece. Or
you're not. Outside of Notre Dame, the rest of college football could go

away. You think significant(see previously BCS bowls) will be setting
up agreements with WAC or MWC teams?LOL. No.
