No disrespect to PG, but Delta is clearly the "Hawkeyes" of Utah wrestling. Year in, year out, they have put quality teams on the mat. Tough kids, hard workers. It sucks to lose to Delta, but when you do, you know you lost to a quality opponent. I'm hoping for a great tourney this weekend.

PG isn't even close to Delta (going for 31), Uintah (23), Wasatch (18), Millard/Wayne each (16). That's the top five. PG isn't the Iowa Hawkeyes of Utah, it's clearly Delta and I'm a Uintah Alum. Even I know that.

Why punish teams that have great wrestling programs by only allowing 1 wrestler per weight to score points? If those teams wanna get the wrestlers qualified for state then set up the necessary programs to compete no matter which classification it is! Just another stupid rule by the UHSAA that negative effect programs that work hard to get where they are! And for those whining about it! STOP!

You wrestlers need to compete for 2016 Summer Olympic because there won't be any wrestling in the Olympic 2020 and beyond. Just to let you know which is NO Rumor and a sad day.

I wrestled for PG last year, they are going for a three peat which would secure their 15th.

What??? PG 28 titles? are you sure? I know Delta is the state leader in titles with about 30 or so I think and if I'm not mistaken, Uintah and Wasatch round out the top 3.
