The primary election is a Republican only smear campaign of its own party members and is redundant to the National and state party conventions. They should abolish the state convention and have the primary vote only so it screens out all unwanted do notings of the Republican party. Give every candidate equal footing and the local primary will determient where and how the people support its representatives.
Also, all party's who have more than one candidate should be required to have a primary election to give equal voice and peoples input to all candidates for an office. The democrat party denies the citizens any voice in who they choose to represent them in elections.
A primary vote gives every one in every party equal opportunity and people more of a voice in national elections. Force the abolishment of national conventions and let the people choose their candidates instead of the power brokers and good old boy government.
Independent and non affiliated candidates should have equal listing on all ballots in local and national elections. This will put polls out of business and end a lot of careers but equality and choice is the name of the peoples rights game.
