Unlikely to pass our State Legislature. It's gotta have something to do with restricting bullies from having guns.
Don't get me wrong, I am not in favor of bullying. With that being said are you really going to put a 12 year old in jail for 5 years for calling someone a name? In my opinion, we have too many laws we have no intention of enforcing. Right now schools do what they can to prevent bullying but imagine the outcry when/if a bully actually went to jail or parents had to pay a $5000 fine? Let's make common sense legislation that will actually be enforced.
