We will roll the beavers.

OK. I marked it down. If they lose they will reclaim the cellar of the mighty PAC 10.2. WSU thanks you for joining the conference so they can move up in the standings.

Keep fighting Utes. Many of us are noticing the improvement despite the lack of wins.

Go Utes, the Ute tradition will return, you will make your mark in the PAC12 and return to the NCAA's. You earned your invitation to the PAC12 and your're the envy of other programs that have not been able to get affiliated with a major conference.

The Pac 11 has never looked worse.

LOL at the frantic and emotional spin of fans trying to pretend that they're actually excited about being conference bottom dwellers. Welcome to the world of Northwestern, Vanderbilt, and Washington State.

The truth is, Utah didn't "earn" anything. The Utes were simply in the right place at the right time when the PAC 10 / Big 12 South merger fell through.

ha ha ha! you should change your username. You need to put "of the" in between. Certainly fits. Funny thing is, you are arguing with an obvious troll. Kind of silly, dont your think?

@ USA Lover

The Pac-12 has 5 projected NCAA tournament teams right now. How about the WCC? 2.

Anyway, we will probably go 0-2 on this road trip, but I am hoping that we compete. I hope we give them a scare and maybe even pull off a win.

I really like the direction of the team. Just gotta keep everyone together. GO UTES!

You are a Jealous person aren't you? So much sour grapes for such a sweet whine. We're enjoying playing against the big boys. We're enjoying recruiting to a big boy conference. Sure, it's been a tough transition. But, we'll remain optomistic. Our teams will get better.

You have a big boy schedule this year in football. We'll see how your tranisiton goes.

Go Utes!

Re: Jealous of the U

The world of Northwestern, Vanderbilt and WSU is still better than the world of BYU playing in HS gyms.

"The Pac-12 has 5 projected NCAA tournament teams right now."

Unfortunately for U, those 5 projected NCAA tournament teams don't include Utah.

The truth is, Utah's season has been over since mid-December. BYU still has a legitimate chance of finishing with another 25+ win season and another NCAA tournament berth.

Better to play in a HS gym, than to play like a HS team. The Utes would have a difficult time beating BYU's "JV team", and that's a FACT.

Did I say otherwise? I was responding to a comment about the Pac-12 being awful.

I don't understand your need to compare BYU and Utah basketball. Obviously, BYU is a much stronger program. I have no problem admitting that. I actually root for them as I am a big fan of Coach Rose.

Only someone with major insecurity issues would compare the two. Your clever screenname reveals a lot about you.

Also, if BYU's JV team would beat Utah, and its such a FACT, then why did hte varsity guys have such a hard time? No doubt you will come back with some macho answer like "we didn't take Utah seriously, and as soon as we did, we blew them out" but you look awfully silly.

For the same reason Arizona, ASU, and UCLA all struggled against the Utes; better teams sometimes play down to their competition.

Though Utah had absolutely nothing to do with having solid outings against a lot of the good teams they played. Riiiiiggght. I'm not claiming that we are as good as those good teams, especially with consistency, but we are much improved, and when we are on our game, we can play with really good teams. That seems like a fact to me. Go Utes!

I hope the Utes can give the same type of effort that they gave against Colorado. They need to hustle after every lose ball and play good defense. I hope Loveridge is back for this road trip, the Utes will need every point they can get. They have a chance against OSU, but it will take a good game from everybody.

As for all of the typical comments from the insecure coug fans, it's getting so old. There are plenty of byu articles for you to comment on but of course the jealousy draws you to the Utes.

Good luck to the Utes this week! On both signing day and against the Beavers tomorrow.

Looks like the Beavers gnawed your dream into splinters.
