We've re-entered an unfortunate situation with the looser market on consumables. Unexamined ingredients making their way onto our store shelves with the resultant loss of life that accompanies this practice. The Beverage marketers are adamant that their products do no harm, yet seek to block discussion and examination of their products. A few extra dollars in exchange for more death is no deal for Americans. A tax increase in order to strengthen the FDA would be a blessing in the improvement of protection from unscrupulous marketing.
