Jimmer was in a different situation in collage. I doubt there is a team in the NBA that will let you shoot forty times a game, and not play defense. That BYU team was built around letting Jimmer fire away. They had several defensive standouts that covered for his lack of lateral defense. The NBA game is much quicker, "Jimmer said so" and exploits everything your game lacks. I have family and friends in the Kings area and they all read the same thing. Jimmer has not grasp the NBA game yet, that is why his minutes are going down. He will find a spot on a team because he can shoot the ball, but there are plenty of hot shooting players that cannot make it in the NBA. Comparing him to Lilliard is ridiculous. Lilliard came in and took over a NBA team, and he will win rookie of the year. This has nothing to do with the minutes Jimmer is getting. Lilliard is a top point guard, Jimmer is a tweener that can shoot, but he is too small for the NBA two guard, and his point guard skills aren't even good enough to claim many minutes.
It doesn't do anything for weber state. I'm saying as a player I would rather have success in the NBA than in college. I like Jimmer, I hope he has a good solid NBA carrer. I'm just fed up with Lillard not getting any recognition, and Jimmer still getting all the attention when Lillard is playing a lot better.
