@gdog3finallyMark my Words
I hope so Scott.
@ gdog3finally"As the Old Bill Marcroft would say "Check
it"6-2, I stand correctedThank you.gdog, why go easy on "mark my words" its sports my friend. Everyone
indulges, here's another one, Utah will beat BYU this year, mark my
words. And Smith will get his Ring mark my words
@ Scott FarcusI liked your comments but Alex was 6-2 as the starter
this year not 8-2. And getting a ring is hard to come by. I hope Alex gets it as
a starter someday but I would go easy on the "mark my words" comment.
@ DEW Cougars"Alex Smith tried and tried and still couldn't get
it like what happened last year. He was SO close getting to SuperBowl."As the Old Bill Marcroft would say "Check it"The
49ers last year made it to the NFC Championship game against the Giants, It was
Alex Smith at the helm that got them there as Q. The punt returner for the
49ers muffed a punt that the Giants recovered and then kicked the game winning
field goal. This year Alex took the 49ers to 8 and2 before his concussion.
So Mr Dew when you call someone out on a team sport saying he "couldn't
get it" be fair about it. Its like blaming a field goal kicker for loosing a
game when he gets three chances to make it. Its a team sport DEW. Smith will get his Ring mark my words
Here we go again. The players with local ties brings out the red and blue
bashing. There will never be just another Utah and BYU article without this
stuff I guess. I mean the venom is so strong that when I comment on BYU minus
malicious intent, it better not be what BYU fans don't want to hear lest I
get the lynch mob tracking me down. The local players from Utah, BYU,
and Ngata (Highland High) were a factor in the Super Bowl (especially Kruger and
Little disappointed about the lack of understanding with regards to Ngata and
his contribution. He never has big sack stats. But he became the highest paid
defensive lineman a couple of years ago because he stops the run an usually
requires a double team which made it easier for Ray Lewis et al to roam from
sideline to sideline unmolested. San Francisco couldn't run the ball until
he got hurt. They only ran to his side twice and never got things going until
Pitta's play was better (even with the huge drop on 3rd down)because he
played at BYU.
Pitta and Kruger both had good games. Obviously scoring a td is huge so that was
probably the single best play by a player with Utah ties but the sack Kruger had
on a 3rd and I think goal that forced SF to kick a fg rather than score a td was
very big. Edge Pitta because he scored but pretty close since Krugers sack may
have kept 4 more points off of the board.
David Reed did dress and play #16 was on kickoff and punt teams
@Scott FarcusAlex Smith tried and tried and still couldn't get
it like what happened last year. He was SO close getting to SuperBowl. But
Kemoeatu did it with no problem on his first start for 49ers and made it to
SuperBowl with no problem but too bad cuuldn't finish it this time. I
rooted only for Pitta and glad he got his TD. 49ers came so close and better
luck next time. And why this little and big brothers garbage talk? Utah can talk
whatever they want and they go ahead smell those dead black roses and better get
use to it, ask Zona schools.
"Uhhhmm Farcus, Utah is the little brother. I know you want that title, but
you need more fans and shouldn't have sold your sole to back into the PAC
12. Plus you've gotta stop the insecurity...that's little bro.
syndrome".Ummmm 3grandslams, BYU is the little brother. I know
that you want that title so you can feel good about the state of your downward
spiraling football program. Utah didn't sell their sole to the Pac-12. They
were invited to join and it was a good business decision to join. Plus Utah gets
to play a step up in competition, which is something BYU shies away from. BYU on the other hand had a tantrum when Utah took their Pac-10
invitation and had a knee-jerk reaction to go indy. Big brother's
don't have tantrums like that. Also big brother's don't lose
consistently to little brother 3 years in a row, 8 of 11, and losing the series
56-34-4. So your getting mixed up! Utah is the big brother and byu is the
annoying little brother. Your comment only shows your insecurity which displays
your "little brother syndrome".
Congrats also to David Reed (Utah). He may not have dressed due to his leg
injury, but still gets the Superbowl Ring! Three Utes getting the bling this
What was that thing Kruger did at the end of the tackle for a loss?
Doesn't UU even teach their guys how to do a sack dance? He needs real
lessons from Keisel and Ziggy.
Loved Pitta's game, 49ers were award of him and opened up some great lanes
for Boldin. His TD was simply because his cover guy was expecting too much of an
out route. Pitta simply read coverage stopped, yawned and caught a Superbowl
TD!! Nice read by Flaco. Uhhhmm Farcus, Utah is the little brother.
I know you want that title, but you need more fans and shouldn't have sold
your sole to back into the PAC 12. Plus you've gotta stop the
insecurity...that's little bro. syndrome.
Congratulations to Pitta, Kruger, and Kemoeatu! Way to represent our local
Pitta's touchdown and other important receptions were clearly the greatest
impacts from a player with Utah ties.
A Safety! The game came down to a Safety. I couldn't stop laughing
watching the Big Brother out smart his Little Brother.Reminded me of
the "Holy War" Utah always taking the advantage over Little Brother.Pita did well nice catching the TD, Kruger's QB sack was awesome. I
actually wanted the Ravens to win because of how the 49er's treated Alex
Smith.Alls good, good game for a Super BowlDodge Ram
pulled an excellent commercial with Paul Harvey
Kruger and Pitta certainly deserve the rings they'll be getting - great
games by them both.
