my condolences, sounds like an awesome guy.
When I was a teen, I had septic arthritis, which is a form of staph infection. At first, doctors couldn't get why my knee hurt so much. But the time they finally figured it out, the infection was too close to the medulla. No antibiotic was able to fight it and they gave me 48 hours, otherwise they would cut my leg so the virus wouldn't get to the bloodstream. I guess it was not my time since I survived and with my leg.
If you see an infection on your skin and it doesn't get away, get to the doctor! If you have fever, get to the doctor! You never know when it's a staph infection. A friend of mine is now in comma because he though those blisters would go away. Unfortunately, by the time he finally decide to go to the doctor, he ended up at the ER.
So sorry for this young man's family. Being a parent myself, I just cannot imagine how they feel now. My prayers go out to them!
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. This must be a very hard burden to bear.
Sending my condolences. So sad.
Sad.
Sounded like a gem of a person.
All locker rooms, and weight rooms, at high schools and colleges, need cleaned daily top to bottom.
No matter the cost.
Or just get rid of sports
It broke my heart to read about this fine young man and the tragedy. He is certainly in a better place but my heart and prayers go to his family and friends. What an example of a fine upstanding young man - I know many lives have been touched for good.
A couple months ago the front page of MSN had a story of a teenager in Colorado who same thing happened too. He I guess wasn't vacinated. Tragic when a young life is taken suddenly. When according to our minds it is not supposed to happen. but with God his thoughts are not our thoughts. Condolences to family.
How sad and unexpected. . . I am reminded that we don't know "the hour or day" when we'll be called home to God. "26 And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, if ye have experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now?
27 Have ye walked, keeping yourselves blameless before God? Could ye say, if ye were called to die at this time, within yourselves, that ye have been sufficiently humble? That your garments have been cleansed and made white through the blood of Christ, who will come to redeem his people from their sins?" Alma 5:26-27
Fortunately, it appears that Parker was prepared. Condolences and prayers to his friends and family.
What a beautiful young man. Sending love and comfort to his family.
The same thing happened to a young man from our high school over the Christmas Break. So sad!
Very sad. Not much that can be said to comfort people in a time like this but just know that people care and thinking of this young man and his family.
Oh my gosh, this is just terrible! My thoughts and prayers go out to Parker's family.
