AWESOME! I'm sure there are some very happy fans tonight and not so happy "fans".
Carlino saves the day! LOL
Great to be a Cougar fan!
It's great that we have the "big 3." Having Carlino come on strong in conference has really made our scoring tough. If we can get something solid out of the other guys that will really help.
I really think that Winder needs to start with Sharp, and the big 3.
Don't you just love it when the Cougars ruin Chrissy B's night?!
BYU was down by 12 at the half, not ahead.
The article says BYU lead by 11 at half but the Waves were ahead at half. 20 pts a half will not get it done against other opponents. Glad we pulled it out but that was an ugly game.
We should now be ranked.
Pretty sure the kids name is Anson, not Andon. BYU barely beat a poor team. Doesn't help them for the big dance.
Any news on why Sharp didn't play much?
Mildred: No way I am sorry, I love the cougs but no way! I also so on another comment on a article that Davies is playing his way into a 1st round draft pick...uh no. His jump shot is not good enough and his slashing is poor. His back to the hoop is good but at his height that wont cut it in the NBA. I am afraid its off to Europe where he will do well. I hate to be a downer guys but NIT is where we can do some damage this year. NCAA would be one and done at best.
"Pepperdine's Nikolas Skouen finished with 16 points for the Waves."
If I remember correctly, Skouen scored all 16 of those points in the first half. Part of the second half adjustments, it appears, was coming up with something to shut him down. This is not the first game this season that an opposing player has had a good first half, only to disappear in the second. Good job to the coaches for making these kinds of adjustments.

Don't bother responding to Mildred. "She" is a troll who always posts ridiculous comments like that.
