Nice bounce back win for the Cougars. Carlino is playing great. Haws still struggling.
Carlino is really getting it. At the start of the year, all he could do was take contested 3's off the dribble. He now is using the entire court to score. Way to go Matt.
Haws will get it back. He just has lost some confidence against Gonzaga.
Brock Zylstra has all the talent in the world and will only take 3 pointers. If they don't go in, he is useless on offense. Take a lesson from Carlino and Haws about the midrange game. It is almost like he is too hard headed to change anything. So every third game will be a good one from him.
Davies is bouncing back which is awesome to see.
Turnovers were in the livable range tonight and offensive rebounds by Portland were at 10( a little too high). Box out.
And let me repeat, where is the beef? We need Kaufusi to compete with the big boys. I know he is not ready, but we don't have a choice. Let's get him ready to put the hurt on Gonzaga and St. Mary's. We need to be the aggressor instead of looking at refs to save us from the bully.
Yeah, I think Haws is still kind of messed up from the Gonzaga game. Something is certainly in his head.
