I'm really glad this sweet little girl was found!
I'm angry how much money and resources are expended each to find such conclusions.
In this case, I would fine the father who took her out of state against the visitation agreement at 150% of the money spent by government to find her, when she wasn't really accosted by an unknown.
Similarly, the 13 year old from Herriman who went on a 2day pajama party should be flipping burgers at McD from 16 to 18 and handing her paycheck over to the cops for the costs of her pajama party...
My opinion...
I pity the poor souls who are going to be her teachers in a few years. Parents quite screwing up your kids and using them as pones in your adolescent arguments.
Why should the father be fined? According to the article the girl was taken from her guardian, her great-grandmother by her mother. There was no mention of the father.
It's not a squabble between parents. She is in the legal custody of great gram and mom has contact. Mom took her out of state, not dad.
Aside from the slight error about the father in one of the previous posts, I still agree with the rest of the post. but perhaps that is what all of the fines that the court system collects is used for (LOL)
