22 points in a half, really? The old Utes are back.
So much for shutting down Crabbe, 23 points, 8 of 15 FG, 4 for 6 from 3-point.
On the bright side, nice balanced scoring, 4 Utah players in double-digits.
Poor shooting night for Washburn, 5-13 FG, and 17 Utah turnovers, however, doomed any chance the Utes had of pulling off the upset.
Defense can only carry you so far when you only have the 206th scoring offense.
Ouch. Let's hang another Pac 12 banner downtown.
Nothing like getting more money and then coming in last.
The slow tempo strategy backfires, again. The coaching staff can't figure out that you can't play from behind when you take 32 seconds to even look at the basket. It's gonna be a long season. You can cancel the PAC 10.2 championship banner.
The offense has looked a little better in the last few games, but turnovers are absolutely killing any chance this team has to win. Hopefully they come out and put a complete game together on Sunday.
Down under, your obsession is showing.
Crabbe is just a fantastic scorer. We shut him down in SLC last year, but he's really developed his game and has the ability to make the tough shots over anybody. His mother was actually sitting near me and I talked to her briefly. She said he took this game as his biggest personal test so far this year, so kudos to him for doing to us what Tyler Haws, Brandon Davies, Shabazz Muhammad, Brock Motum and CJ Wilcox couldn't do in reaching his season average. So credit Cal for the win first and foremost, but I gotta think if we cut down on the turnovers we have a great chance of winning. Good effort, just play smarter.

"Ouch. Let's hang another Pac 12 banner downtown".
Those Pac-12 banners sure are bringing out the jealousy in you. No better feeling than feeling left behind, eh Joe? I know it still stings you 3 years later but hang in there, just hope BYU rejoins the MWC so your football team has something to play for.
Bleed Crimson
You obviously don't understand the difference between jealousy and being mocked.
Talk about being left behind.
How about finishing last or next to last in the PAC 10.2 in just about every sport the Utes participate in, including those basement dwelling rundown Utes?
Insecure people will always tear other things down, and insecurity is often a manifestation of jealousy.
