Another good reason for the 11 Western States to demand that the Federal Government comply with the promises.made when they entered the union.
Centralized planning never works Free the colonies and remember what happened to the USSR
Swiss,
Utah has no valid right to demand that. This is a direct quote from Article 3 Section 2 of the Utah Constitution:
"The people inhabiting this State do affirm and declare that they forever disclaim all right and title to the unappropriated public lands lying within the boundaries hereof, and to all lands lying within said limits owned or held by any Indian or Indian tribes, and that until the title thereto shall have been extinguished by the United States, the same shall be and remain subject to the disposition of the United States"
Any legal challenge to Federal management of American public lands in the state is going to have a fun time explaining that away.
Yeah, right! And the Native Americans should demand that the Federal Government comply with the original promises they made to them also!
xscrobe,
which tribe are you going to give YOUR house and lot to? Or is it just the government that has to do things and individual citizens have no responsibilities (or rights)?
