I don't believe this. I know everyone has been hit by this tax cut and many are afraid to buy a car, home or otherwise especially with Obamacar in the wings. I don't think we should try to sugarcoat this recession. Utah is not doing so great. My friends with small businesses are thinking of closing up shop. Look and talk to business owners. Unless your a conglomerent, you're not doing so great.
the jobs utah is gaining are low wage, low benefit jobs. real recovery happens when jobs are gained which offer living wages and real benefits.
"we're better than they are" still does not mean you are OK.
I've lived in several states including Utah and I found Utah to have the lowest paid jobs by far. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) consistently reports Utah’s weekly wage as one of the lowest in the nation.
