Thanks for sharing this. I am grateful to the thousands who have served throughout many nations filming records so that I can search from my computer, verifying my heritage with copies of primary documents. My husband was in Ireland a few years ago for a Family Reunion and went to the Dublin Genealogical Society seeking information. He was told that all the original records had been destroyed in a fire, but some were available from microfilm that had been recorded before the fire. Guess what that source was? Yes, my husband entered his Username and Password in FamilySearch! He could have done his research from our home! We are so blessed because of the inspiration of those who had the vision of this Great Vault and acted.
