A fine musician! RIP
Incredible talent. Though I'm younger I've always loved the magical music those guys released. Thanks for making the world a better place.
Bob was as fine a gentleman you'd ever meet. A kind and thoughtful spirit, God gave him the voice of an angel and he used it to create beautiful music that will last forever. Every time I talked to him, he was a joy to converse with and more concerned with me than himself. May he rest in peace.
For me, summer does not begin until I listen to the Lettermen sing "Theme From a Summer Place". These guys were terrific. They were one of the first acts to perform at the new Jon M. Huntsman Center (formerly Special Events Center) on the University of Utah campus. I was fortunate enough to get tickets to that concert. Their harmonies were gorgeous.
I remember The Lettermen on their annual visit to Ricks College in the early 70s, my first concert ever. What impeccable harmonies. True talents and a blessing to us all as they shared their gift of music that will now live beyond Bob and his associates, continuing to inspire many hearts with their themes of romance, love, and devotion.
