Despite a couple of rough games (USC & WSU) Utah has continued to learn and play hard. I'm encouraged by the win at Washington and by the play of our freshmen. Loveridge, Taylor, Seymour, and an improving Jeremy Olsen are going to be extremely important to the trajectory of this team over the next few years.
The Utes will still take some lumps this year, but I expect a few more break out games where they'll lay an unexpected lump on somebody else.
Go Utes!
Taylor and Loveridge are two good players to build around for the future. Now if U can get some bigs, U can start to have some hope. Congrats on the win.
"It's time to win some of our fans back."
Very humble statement there; nice work, Washburn.
Thanks Cougfan, a win is a win
Whew! :) Congrats to the Ute team and coaches. Here's hoping for a nice long win streak.
Congrats to the Utes. Loveridge is a stud and its nice to see a Utah high school product do so well. I only wish he would've come to the Y. That being said, a win over UW is a great win.
@OCoug and CougFaninTX- thanks for being classy- finally having success after heartache and hard work should be congratulated and DOES NOT take away from BYU's basketball success. I've been encouraged to be happy for other instate success while still cheering for my own team. We all need to remember that.
I've been saying the Utes are much better than people think. I suspect that they will surprise a few other teams before the season is over.
