Congrats! I'm sure they could use his skills next year but I am sure he will develop more physically after a mission! Good luck to you Lowell!

I seldom comment on recruits because I don't pretend to know anything about them. There are a few clowns around here that read stuff on the internet and watch youtube clips and think they know what kind of players these kids will turn out to be. I find those guys extremely amusing but sort of pathetic.

Once they actually play and we know what they can do then it is time to make some comments I suppose, but at this point exactly zero posters on here know anything at all about any of them, and that is why I am laughing at them for their comments.

    Howard S-

True, but at least Chasen is one a teenager not an adult and two hasn't made the same mistake twice.

That being said I hope that Lowell and A-Rod find success at the U.

    Agreed Duckhunter.

One should build up not tear down or seek to cause ire amoung those whom we have probably never met. Thank you BYU fans for representing!

    Thanks Duckhunter, et. al.

There is "definately" a difference in the two prospects as well Duck. Par for the course.

Definately a difference between the posts by BYU fans on this article and the posts by utah "fans" on the Chasen Anderson article. Par for the course.

"thebigsamoan... Thanks for the civil commentary and good class, I think you represent the vast majority of Cougar fans, but unfortunately not the vocal majority."

Represents the majority of cougar fans who have posted on this article!

Good luck, Lowell, in all that you do. Understanding that luck is where hard work and opportunity intersect, I would expect you to have very good luck indeed.

The Utes landed a good local player in Lotulelei. Best of luck!

thebigsamoan, Lowell will be gone on a mission for the first year of the hiatus, and will be back for the second year, meaning he will either be a sophomore or redshirt freshman when the series is expected to start back up. Thanks for the civil commentary and good class, I think you represent the vast majority of Cougar fans, but unfortunately not the vocal majority.

Congrats to the Utes for landing another seemingly great recruit! Here's one Cougar fan wishing you the best of luck in your future! I'm just sad we probably will never ever going to see you play against us seeing that after this season our series will be discontinued for who knows how long? Even so, good luck to you and the Utes! Shine where you've chosen to be and may you bring honor to your school and the state of Utah football!

    Go Cougars!!!

"maybe A-Rod could take a few lessons from him in decision making :)."

And perhaps Chasen Andersen could take a lesson regarding his commitment to Utah State.

Congrats on the accomplishment, hopefully Lowell will do as well or better than his big brother. As far as taking his time to make a commitment, maybe A-Rod could take a few lessons from him in decision making :).

Welcome to the Utah family Lowell!! I'm really happy that he signed with Utah. Sounds like he is going right on a mission for his church so it may be a while until we can see him on the field.

This is a big weekend for Utah football with a number of recruits in town. I hope we can land a few more good athletes to the class.

    Go Utes!
