Nice win, Utes!!
Crisp, clean offense, great shot selection, good shooting, and airtight defense. Not a perfect game, though, especially the easiest part of the game: free throws. Make those and Coach Romar wouldn't have entertained any thoughts of a late comeback. Good to finally have the players rewarded for their hard work with a win, hopefully the momentum will carry over into very winnable games against Cal and Stanford.
Congratulations Utes!!! Great effort for a full 40 minutes. Nice to see Loveridge wanting the ball in his hands with the game on the line. Most impressive was the fact that every time Washington would close the gap to six points, Utah would buckle down and extend the lead again. GO UTES!
I love the way Brandon Taylor has played the last couple of games.
Great win on the road, in conference, against a quality opponent. Gotta feel good getting that monkey off their backs. The improvement continues after a couple of rough games.
Onward and upward, go Utes!
Great team effort. I am impressed with the way they have stayed together as a team through their recent adversity. I am excited to watch them continue to grow and develop.
That was a great win for the Utes. They played very good defense all night and it was a very balanced attack offensively with a number of guys stepping up and making shots.
Brandon Taylor played a great game along with Loveridge and Wasburn. I hope the Utes can build on this win and get a few more this season. They beat a good Washington team on the road so that should give them some needed confidence to get a few more.
Go Utes!
