Most college coaches don't translate to the NFL and professional ranks well, IE the best coach in college football Saban, didn't have great success in the NFL. It's a different ball game. Those that are successful with the jump are usually the ones who had previous NFL experience in some compacity, like Harbaugh. And Harbaugh and Saban ran offenses similar to what they do in the NFL. So why would someone hire Kelly? He's a great college coach and a great recruiter, but one strength recruiting he won't be using in the NFL. His other strength is offensive in the college ranks his offense won't come close to working in the NFL, it's a gimmicky offense! In my opinion, I don't see this as a good hire for the Eagles. I think he'll be coaching someplace else in college within 5 years.
Class acts, all the way around.
