Hey Uncle Jon, nobody has cast any judgement at all. People sure have voiced an opinion, speculated, but we don't know the story and your niece has been unwilling to cooperate with police. She also hid in a closet while the police were at the door. Yes, it's kidnapping because she is 13 and that is all. Don't hide her because she is 13, hold her accountable for her actions. Hold her accountable for unwillingness to cooperate with authority. I hope she is alright, glad she is safe. But IF it is as such a horrible incident that we all need to pay close attention too. Then lets have some cooperation. Again, this isn't judgement. This is the direct communication, don't like it, stay out of the media.

Sorry, I am not one to play on the media or the hearts of others when the truth has yet to come out, from Garcia or the young 13 year old. As I said yesterday. She is old enough to know right from wrong.

Really Winder, it is irrelevant whether she was with Garcia willingly? How is that irrelevant? You said it exactly, she is a victim right now because of her age only.

Irrelevance means that it does not matter. If she was with him willingly, I would say it matters. Maybe if you considered this relevant, you might be making some headway into this case and would either be that much closer to a conviction. Have a good punishment in mind for the 13 year old, if she is part of it. Getting the 13 year old the help she needs if there are issues that lead to her leaving with this guy, etc. Irrelevant, I think not.
