I love to see any team beat Miami, but it's especially sweet when the Jazz beat them. The Jazz played great tonight and that will probably cut Corbin some slack with most of Jazz nation. I am a point however where I am so frustrated with Corbin that I won't cut him slack while he continues to make poor decisions. Seriously, how in the world does Marvin Williams keep getting 30 plus minutes a game. I hoped Corbin would see while he was out 3 games and Carrol replaced him in the line up that the Jazz are a much better team. But, Williams comes back and gets 32 minutes ans scores 5 points with 2 rebounds while Carrol in 15 minutes gets 12 points, 4 rebounds, and plays better defense. And, what happened with Burks tonight? Burks has been finally getting some minutes and playing great ball and tonight he's an after thought with Corbin. It was a great win but I don't know how much more I can take of Corbin coaching this team. This team has some potential!!

Down the stretch, when the Jazz were coming apart at the seams, we were left wondering why the coach didn't insert the guy that helped build the lead, Demarre Carroll, who in the first half, was calm, cool, and unstoppable!

Gotta agree with the other two comments here. I too am baffled that Marvin Williams continues to get more minutes than either Carroll or Burks, he is just not very good and I cannot fathom what Corbin sees in him. Corbin seems to struggle with substitutions, he is the biggest momentum killer I have ever seen. I understand that the starters need rest but you don't have to have all of the starters on the bench while the second unit plays, it's OK to mix them together. If there are players that aren't getting it done you take them out.
I loved coach Sloan and the only complaint I ever had about him was his rigid substitution pattern but after watching Corbin Sloan looks like an absolute genius in comparison.

Not gonna say Corbin is a bad coach, he knows more about basketball than anyone commenting here, but I have to agree about Carrol. The guy is our game changer. It's ok to have him come off the bench, but he deserved more playing time last night.
