Bless their hearts! Sad to hear that those who can do for others don't see how they can be a lifeline to those who can't shovel the snow or mow their lawns. May we all have our eyes opened.
What a great service, not just the shoveling, but the personal visits!
I have elderly parents, but I work full time, so by the time I get to their house, their neighbors have all done their own walks already. I swear they must use a ruler so they don't shovel an inch farther than their own property line!
If all of us would only take 5 minutes a day to help someone else, we could make a huge difference...
