Good work Senator Osmond and Representative Powell. You won't be popular in your caucus but you are doing the right thing. We elected these folks to debate in public, not in caucuses. Senator Valentines excuse for not changing is a lame one. If they are there to do the will of the people, then do it where the people can see it. There are a handful of Senators that use boxcar bills every year trying to slip through some of their pet projects at the end of a session will little to no debate and even less input from the public.
These two men are men of integrity not only by proposing this change that will be unpopular with the far right, but with the way the conducted themselves in last years legislative session. Keep up the good work and thanks for giving us hope that there are legislators who care about the people.
