Utah's child poverty rate may be "low" but it has steadily increased. Today, nearly 1 in 6 children in Utah live in poverty - more than 140,000 children. For those children and their families, our low ranking is irrelevant. But it does mean that our problem is not so large that we can't do anything about it. The question is: will we?
