Couldn't agree more with this article!
The Restored Gospel is a veritable smorgasbord of intellectually challenging and satisfying information and provides a way to integrate our mental logic and our spiritual faith.
It is a tragedy when people leave the Church thinking that it oversimplifies things and does not answer deep questions....indeed it is the only religion or philosophy on earth that DOES!

I agree with the idea of not making the Gospel too simple. Conversely, having studied Bible theology at a Bible college, there is a tendency to make the Gospel overly complicated. Some of the systematic theology texts I read would have confused the Savior, I think! As always, there's a right balance and appropriate level of Gospel presentation, "milk" first and "meat" later. Considering that in Jesus' time, many of His disciples could not read or write, yet they were able to be taught, and then go out and teach, the essential Gospel - and write it down for us all, as well. Sometimes, I believe, the most complicated concepts can be explained in remarkably simple ways - and that should be the goal of sharing, teaching, and witnessing Christ.
