This is a Great Movie!!! Only a few "raspy" words occurr in the script. I'm sure the "real world" of then, in the mid 1860's of Civil War era, actually had much more
foul language than the movie depicted.
The movie Does focus on the passing of the 13th Ammendment.
A Great Movie!! Just saw it on New Year's Day in the late afternoon, and a number of people were commenting after the movie was over, -- that the politicians of today are just like those of the 1860's.
This was just hours before the US House of today finally voted on the "Fiscal Cliff" issue and were still debating the merits of what the politicians of today threw together at the "last minutes and hours", (just two days ago) as Midnight approached.
Again, A Superb Movie!!!
Will probably win many awards!!!
