We should probably outlaw cars as there is the potential for them to be used as deadly weapons.
Or at least ban all cars that go faster than 5 miles per hour, as those are capable of killing many more people than simply the cars that only go under 5 miles per hour.
Or maybe we should regulate cars and license their owners, given the ability for a car to be used as a deadly weapon. Maybe we could even require that car owners purchase insurance in case they injure someone with their vehicle. Oh wait...we do that already.
Now how about forcing all gun owners to be licensed and require insurance to be purchased by gun owners and gun sellers in case someone is injured by a gun they own or have sold.
How funny are you now Chris?
UTCProgress,
driving a car is NOT a right spelled out in the constitution. Gun ownership is.
Nice apples to tornadoes comparison, though. How funny are you now?
Thanks, UHP. Now let's hope the judiciary and Sim Gill do not let them off with a $15 ticket and no points.
It's too bad that people who think they have to drink and then choose to drive somehow sees nothing wrong with those choices. Well, there are many of us out there who use common sense and know the dangers of drinking and driving. How many more innocent lives have to be taken by these reckless human beings? I think the laws should be stricter and have tougher terms attached to them. I wonder how they would feel if one of their loved ones or friends were killed because of some worthless drunk. The world we live in now is so filled with angry, hateful, ungrateful people who seem to think they can do what they want and will get away with it. God is aware of what you are doing and the day will come when you will finally get your punishment..it will not be worth it I can guarantee you that.
