Andrei will always be remembered as a Jazz man. I am glad he is still able to play and hope he has a great season, except for when he plays against the Jazz.

Welcome back, Andrei. Hope all is well with you.

I always liked AK but he was a hard one to figure out.Time missed, emotional breakdown,ect.. He is still one of the few players to have a 5X5. Those who have them are all elite hall of fame players. AK is the only one with three of them and he also has four 4X5..

Cheer Him! It's not his fault that Jazz brass overpaid him. He was a very good Jazzman who seemed like a very likable dude off the court. Was he worth 14 Million/year? Heck no. Was he a valuable part of good teams? Absolutely.

Provo, UT

I suppose we should remember that it would be difficult for any of us to turn down a max contract, even if we didn't feel we were up to it. Andrei did not demand it, it was offered in a moment or organizational weakness. Can't blame him.

Your talking about a fan base that boos Jimmer Fredette every time he touches the ball for the WHOLE game.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Utah fans have had this bizarre love for Mr Frag-il-lay who got max pay for 11 points a game, when he wasn't injured. I could never get the hate for Carlos B when he was injured or putting in 30 the reverse. But the fans couldn't get enough of the most overpaid dude in the league, a guy who's agent smoked KOC into the huge contract by making up a story that Phoenix wanted #47 badly. they will cheer their guts out when AK appears continuing the mystery.

If I remember right AK compared himself to getting a Pau Gasol type contract. Sounds like a demand to me..

Baton Rouge, LA

He stayed with the team and seemed to give the effort on the defensive end when everyone else wouldn't on some nights. If I was at the game I would give him some cheers before the game. It's not like he got the coach fired and demanded a trade.
