The guy only won 30% of his games. 1 in 3. That is pretty pathetic.
With that being said, I still think Williams was fully responsible for Johnson's departure.
If Deron hadn't made public comments about the offense being lousy, Johnson would still be with the team.
I assume Deron will have a role in choosing the next coach. Deron had better deliver, this one is on him.
It will be interesting to see who they get to replace Avery. I suspect Carlisimo will get the job by default.
Avery Johnson played with a lot of guts and heart at Golden State Warriors. Loved watching that guy.
