This is our last chance to get a meaningful non-conference win. On paper it looks like it should be a good game. I'm addition to Davies and Haws, hopefully one or two other players will step up and have a solid game.
This is another game the Cougars caved to the opponent to get them to play outside of Virginia. Last year's game was played on VT's home floor.
Hopefully, this is the last of this nonsensical scheduling "home for them and "neutral" for us).
Well, there could be one exception: Duke with Parker as a freshman agrees to play BYU at Cameron (their home court) and they play BYU at EA. No, that's just as dumb!
@ wer
You've apparently never been to a BYU game at ESA. I was there today and there were 15,600 fans there of which maybe 100 were VT fans. It was a great atmosphere and definitely a home court advantage for BYU. Both BYU and opponents from major conferences like playing in NBA arenas and in case you haven't paid attention to BYU's record at ESA, they're
7-0. Sounds like pretty nonsensical scheduling to me.
