Sounds like a fantastic kid. Maybe the Lord wanted him back earlier. My condolences to the family.
Tragic accident. The Lord doesn't "call" his children back by causing an accident. As Elder Paul Dunn would say,"The Lord doesn't call his his children home in a ditch" (spoken at a funeral of a 5 year old killed in a hit and run). By thinking or suggesting the Lord "needs" the child can embitter the survivors (God needs my child more than me?). They do go home to him. But it was an accident.
What a little sweetheart. I'm going to make that part of my mantra, "This is the best day ever." Just another affirmation that tragedy comes in all forms and we can't stop them as much as we would like or no matter how many laws we pass. God bless your little family as you mourn your loss.
