Society has progressed to what may be remembered as "death from the assault rifle". But..a plain ol' gun with a few bullets will still do the job the disturbed/and or "temporarily insane" individual has in mind.
This sorrow has been going on since the beginning of time, even before guns came on the scene. Sharp instruments abounded in ancient times. Apparently, these sharp instruments were not only used for shaping stone monuments.
No violent movies, no violent video games, no modern mood control medications, back then.
Is the truth, simply, that man"s genetics contain ancient genes of an out of control animal, now....kept at bay MOST of the time?
Did God want everyone to be "tested' on how our society reacted to violence?
Were human beings sent by God to earth to learn something from these massacres?
Did God want everyone to have weapons to use in order to maim and kill each other?
Did Jesus operate this way when he came to earth?
What is the outcome of this "test" suppose to be?

One look at that guy, and I'd have never wanted a relationship with him.
