That does it! Just too many of these situations happening all over the country. We need knife control, and we need it NOW. Letting the government decide who can have a knife and registering all knives might not be the perfect answer . . . but we have to do SOMETHING.

That is correct. After all, "doing nothing is not an option," even if that means doing the wrong thing. Besides, all we have to do is call it the right thing, and that will make it so, irrespective of reason.
