Well, perish the thought that they might take a look at something so "political" as safety. What a bunch of flimsy excuses for dodging the issue. It reminds me of the US Congress and their handling (or rather not handling) of Illegal Immigration, Education Reform, Border Security, the Fiscal Cliff, a Federal Budget, etc etc etc.
