Comments about ‘SDSU's Long doesn't consider bowl game against BYU a home game’

I remember when BYU used to have more fans at the SDSU games in San Diego. It is a major accomplishment if they can get to 50-50 as Long suggests. However, this is still a home game for the Aztecs because they play all their home games on the same field.

I thought this article was about the Poinsettia Bowl. Instead it's a SMAK down of Utah vs BYU. Why Ute posters denigrate BYU's history is beyond me. Now Utah is in the PAC12, where it has been hammered to the bottom of the pack. Maybe they'll break into the upper half someday.

Realistically? Utah has never even beaten my Dawgs. And UW has bought out their contract with BYU after losing another series against them. UW is ducking BYU, WSU bought out their home game against BYU and now Utah is ducking BYU. No wonder that PAC12 didn't want BYU. Half their schools are afraid to play them.

BYU had that dream where they're invited to join the Pac-12, but that dream got shattered BIG time when big brother Utah got the Pac-12's invitation and left BYU crying in the corner by themselves (independence).

Since joining the PAC 12/becoming Independent

BYU - one Top 25 finish, two winning seasons, two bowl games
Utah - unranked, one losing season, one bowl game

The only team I see crying in the corner by themselves are the bottom dwelling Utes cast aside by the big boys of their conference.

Enjoy the couch potato bowl; it's the only bowl the Utes are good enough to play in anymore.

btw, if the Utes had beaten the only WAC team they played this season, they'd be bowling. Unfortunately for U, you weren't even good enough to do that.
